Departure Date: March 21, 2014

Soon after placement information came training information. Training for me would be in Osaka from March 24-28 so that meant I had to get my butt to Osaka by the 23rd! A date!! How exciting! With the help of my awesome mother, she looked up flights for me and found one leaving for Osaka on March 21 with two stops, in LA and Shanghai. The one way ticket was more than I thought (nearly $1,000) but I just said “book it!” It had to be done and I didn’t want to wait longer and potentially have to pay more. So with my flight booked and only about a month left, everything was becoming even more real than before. It was no longer a thought or a topic of conversation but it was slowly becoming a reality. I would really be moving to Japan!
